Legal
a) Solicitors
Sea View Properties has its own legal department in
place to assist you with your purchase. A fully qualified in house
solicitor can complete all the formalities and can make the legal
process easy and convenient for you. We do not charge fee if you are
purchasing property through us.
However, if you wish to appoint an independent solicitor, We can
introduce you to a English solicitor or Dubai based solicitor. If you
decide to appoint that firm of solicitors, then you will be responsible
to pay their costs.
b) Inheritance
Local laws do not allow woman to inherit from their
husbands or their fathers in the event of somebody dying intestate
(without a will). A notary or a solicitor will easily be able to advice
on the procedure for avoiding such an occurrence.
c) Land Registry
When you purchase a property, your contract will be
in the majority of cases with the vendor/developer and the title deeds
should be made available on completion or shortly after.
d) Residency
The main purchaser is allowed to apply for a 3 yrs
Residency permit.
The main purchaser may re-apply for residency every 3 years indefinitely
as long as the applicant is still a property owner and has not breached
any Dubai regulations.
The main purchaser may then sponsor the rest of his family.
The number of bedrooms in the property in the property will determine
how many sponsors may be allowed.
